KYRIELLE  FOR SOME SAD VICTIMS OF RACISM

When those  victims of racism are cruelly abused,
Their faces look so sad and they don't know they are used.
A fear of things makes them inept to protect their space.
Sometimes, they die in search for another dwelling place.

The crisis and the wars made these people immigrants.
Discriminated, blacks and whites look so innocent.
Their Stolen Generation grows and lives in disgrace.
Sometimes, they die in search for another dwelling place.

They need equality and peace in this world to live
And pray to have all the mercy and love our Lord can give.
To protest in the streets, they run their life steeplechase.
Sometimes, they die in search for another dwelling place.

TERZANELLE FOR JUNIE

Racism and violence were non-existent in this world

Of fiction, where the black women rescued the white men

To love, while the secrets of slavery were unfurled.

In science fiction, there was a leading light and a ben

Called Octavia Estelle Butler, or Junie in dreams

Of fiction, where the black women rescued the white men.

She wrote about power, disease, incest, love and screams.

Self-destructive violence and hierarchical tendencies

Called Octavia Estelle Butler or Junie in dreams.

In a sad world of poverty and dependencies,

Without having a father, she learned to fight against

Self-destructive violence and hierarchical tendencies.

Maybe to feel superior in struggle is sensed,

When we're aware of fighting for the identity.

Without having a father, she learned to fight against.

In a world of wars, Estelle found a new entity.

Racism and violence are non-existent in this world,

When we're aware of fighting for the identity

Of love, and the secrets of slavery are unfurled.

THE MASK

The reality of your dream
Is a mask turned backward-
Black over white, black over white
Love over pain, love over pain.

Hey, take me to yourself.

The dream of my reality
Is the backward of that mask
Turned backward-
White over black, white over black
Pain over love, pain over love.

Hey, come to me.

Come to self in self
In that place where
Everything can be
Black into white when it's taken from us,
Or white into black when it's given to us.
Love into pain when it is given to us,
Or pain into love when it is taken from us.

Look for that mask!
It is intangible-
Me
And
You

Always the same!

I'm looking for myself
Through you.
You're looking for yourself
Through me

In that place where
Everything can be
Sometimes
Black without white and white without black,
Or pain without love and love without pain

In losing control.
