PRERNA SINGLA
PLANETAN

In a rosy garden I met a
Guy with purple eyes
Skin like a pale moon
Looks like flowers bloom
He smiled at me
As I looked at him
What race are you”, he asked
I saw the crystal globe he clasped
“Hi I am Planetan”, I said
Planetan???
“no race defines me, I am the citizen of the planet,
I see all earth as land, all men James and Janet
All sky as blue, All Plants green
All waters wet, all creatures being
I see diversity in unity
And unity in diversity
For me, I live on the planet
And nothing divided by man
I am a Planetan!!”

WHATEVER THE RACE

Whatever the race there may be
We all walk on the same land
Whatever the race there may be
We all are buried in the same sand
Whatever the race there may be
All live the part of their fates
Whatever the race there may be
We all search for our love mates
Whatever the race there may be
We all eat the same food
Whatever the race there may be
We all carry personalities and moods
Then where does the difference arise?
The religions all teach doing good
The races all have their beliefs
The boundaries all have their rules
No race bears all rich and no race bears all poor
No race bears all angels & neither all wrong doers
No race is all immune to disease & all seek love
How in the world then races differ
Whatever the races that dwell in this world.
