BEAUTY IS SKIN-DEEP
He made us black, white and yellow
Can’t recall more skin tones
People say “beauty is skin-deep”
The skin only covers the man inside
The inner soul calls for help
Clothes cover our body
Skin covers our soul
Souls are a part of God, the almighty
How can a part of god be chided
Just for wearing yellow, black or white clothes?

A FAR CRY FROM THE MARGIN
The centre reaps all benefits
Those sitting on the margin
Bereft of all the profits
Cry sitting on the periphery
Nobody turns towards their concerns
None recognize their needs
The need to be recognized
The need to be praised
They are humans like us
So what if they are of a different colour
The inner being is the same
He has the same heart
The same spine and the same life-blood
Then why do I hear a far cry from the margin?

APARTHEID
No Race differentiation
No Colour contrast
No Gender discernment
No Caste discrimination
No Creed separation
Stop Apartheid!
Stop segregation!
Call an end to racism
We belong to the same father
And father differentiates none.
